The primary office for Academic Advising undeclared students and success coaching and mentoring for bears first,
independent youth, Denver scholars, first generation, and transitioning transfer students.

你是谁:

As a new student at UNC you may have questions about how to be successful.  高飞提供 custom 1:1 success coaching to help students proactively achieve 的ir academic and personal goals in a supportive and inclusive environment.

  • In-Person or Virtual appointments: Monday - Friday
  • Incoming students can schedule an appointment by emailing soar@basilinfracon.com

熊第一次

熊第一次 is designed to help students entering UNC below a 3.0 high school GPA establish a strong first and second year of academic success through personalized coaching and advising, facilitating 的 development of individual academic success plans and formalized 连接 campus resources and support

熊第一次 participants are identified through 的 博天堂官方办公室 and many students classify as first generation. Participation in 的 program establishes a foundation for success at UNC through a structured approach to personalized proactive coaching and advising in an inclusive and caring environment. 

探索学生

UNC identifies undeclared students as exploring. If you do not have a major in mind or you are considering multiple 主要的选项 you are an 探索学生

高飞 and UNC are committed to helping you if you have  come to college to explore 的 主要的选项 都是可用的. We can also guide you if you are considering a major change but are unsure of what you want to switch to.

独立的青年

The 独立的青年 Program is designed to help you establish academic success by providing personalized coaching and advising, facilitating 的 development of individual academic success plans, and formalized 连接 campus resources and supports.

独立的青年 are identified through 的 财政援助办公室. Participation in 的 独立的青年 program establishes a foundation of success at UNC through a structured approach to personalized proactive coaching and advising in an inclusive and caring environment.

Denver Scholarship 基金会

高飞 helps Denver Scholarship 基金会 (DSF) Scholars establish academic success through personalized coaching and advising, facilitating 的 development of individual academic success plans and formalized 连接 campus resources and support.  DSF Scholars can renew this scholarship for up to four years if 的ir scholarship success requirements are met each academic semester.

DSF scholars are selected through an application process from 的 Denver Scholarship 基金会. DSF Participation in 高飞 establishes a foundation for success at UNC through a structured approach to personalized proactive coaching and advising in an inclusive and caring environment. 

第一代

高飞’s 第一代 Program is designed to help you establish academic success by providing personalized coaching and advising, facilitating 的 development of individual academic success plans, and formalized 连接 campus resources and supports.

You are considered 第一代 if your parents have not completed a 4-year college 学位. Participation in 高飞’s 第一代 Program establishes a foundation of success at UNC through a structured approach to personalized proactive coaching and advising in an inclusive and caring environment.

FERPA protects your academic information

隐私

由于 Family Education Rights and 隐私 Act (FERPA), University staff can provide academic information about a student only to 的 student 自己. This includes items such as cumulative grade point average, grades, and 学术地位. However, a great deal of general information can be shared with 的 support system of a student.
